Reviews about Parkers' Lighthouse
- 5 / 5By Gary Edwards“Excellent Meal and Service on Queen Mary's top restaurant”
We had a very nice anniversary celebration dinner at Sir Winston's on board the Queen Mary Hotel. We were seated around 6 PM. The hotel front desk was very accommodating and helpful in changing our reservation from a later time. The restaurant has a fine dining, historic atmosphere with wood paneling throughout, subdued lighting, Churchill photos in the entrance lobby,...April 22, 2017 - 5 / 5By Erin TreinenThe food was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. Service was great. I couldn't believe the check when it came. I was expecting much, much more. It goes to show you don't always get what you pay for. I've had extremely average meals that were made even more average based off the expense.
This was delicious, priced VERY competitively, and well maintained. Will definitely be back!March 25, 2017 - 2 / 5By Elaine WitkowskiWe went with high expectations. It's been 15 years since our last visit. We remembered it fondly. The visit was awful. We arrived early so we went to the bar to wait until they could seat us. About ten mins before our reservation we went back to the hostess desk to be told they would be late seating us. We then were seated in a very noisy area. The view was amazing but the noise ruined it. The server was slow. She seemed upset that we had already had our drinks and appetizers while we waited for our table. Once the meal and wine was ordered we tried to relax and enjoy the view, as the noise grew louder. Our meal showed up cold and without wine. Wine showed up halfway through the meal. We were then presented with a bill. No coffee or dessert offered. We expressed our concerns and received no attention from her. As we were leaving we spoke to a manager to make sure he knew. He offered dessert to go, etc but we just wanted to leave. Then, we had to pay to get out. Yes, really. They charge for parking even when dining. So after dropping $200 on our meal we had to pay another $6 to get out! We will not be back.August 01, 2016
